A typical Experience...

• Homemade afternoon teas
• Assemble in the hall for a mulled wine/mead.
• If the house and it's presence already hasn't let you have the feeling of the past, this is when it all starts happening!
• Seated for a memorable feast ( 6 courses and a bottle of wine per couple).
• If Lord and Lady Teksnes are in house they may regale you with tales of Old Colehurst Manor, its history and its previous occupants.
• If not you only have to ask one of the house servants for some of their experiences!

The above 17th Century Experience only applies to group bookings. The typical experience can be tailor-made to your specifications, birthdays, anniversaries etc.

For dinner parties up to 20 Lady Maria will be the head of the kitchen, she has been nominated for a Michelin Star. When the inspection took place, they could not give her a star as she was running her restaurant as private parties only. The inspector’s words” please carry on the way you do, personally we would like to dine here before any Michelin Star restaurant”.

She also was approach by Lord Bradford at a dinner party at Colehurst for her recipes; he wanted to use them in his London restaurant. She never gave them away, there for you can still taste them at Colehurst.

Our private Dinning Room seat 20 people, is it lit by candles and have a large open log fire.

We can also cater for larger dinner parties up to 70 in the Great Hall and 60 in the Dinning Hall.

Visit Santa in December, Free enterance, just bring your letter to Santa ( 1-8 years), and anybody els that believes in Santa. Santa has dropped in at Old Colehurst Manor with his helpers and workshop, to pick up the letters him self. There will be coffee,tee and cakes for mum's and dad,s
