We are pleased to offer the unique opportunity to hire Colehurst for the whole of your wedding weekend.
This option allows for complete flexibility and is proving to be very popular with those who really wish to make this the most memorable day of their lives.
The day will be arranged to the exact requirements of the bride and groom. Any couple planning to wed here may be assured of Lady Maria's exquisite attention to detail for their perfect day. Most of our weddings are traditional, but for those who wish a themed wedding; there are no other places in Britain more appropriate.
It is difficult to imagine a more romantic setting for a wedding: perfumed rose arbours, the glow of candles, log fires, mulled wine and a perfect wedding chamber, fit for a Lord and Lady.
"The perfect place to spend our first night of married life so beautiful and tranquil. Thank you for a wonderful time" Our Dining room, so beautifully lit by fire and candle light, has been photographed for film and magazines all over the world and can seat 75-80 guests.
If your party is of 20 or less people the Library, featuring one of Britain's most magnificent fire places, may be suitable. Alternatively 120-130 guests may be catered for a "buffet style" meal.
We invite you to use our home for your special day, as we are licensed to carry out Matrimonial Weddings. You may choose to have either a Traditional Wedding, or a Medieval Wedding.
Whichever style you choose, couples who get married at Colehurst will look back on their wedding day with extra special memories.
Throughout the day we will ensure you have one of the most unique days and experiences of your life. You guest will never forget your wedding at Colehurst.
In the Spring and Summer the house and gardens will give you the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. Colehurst is one of the only wedding venues which offer you the opportunity to have your ceremony in the garden.
During the Autumn and winter it is lit with candles and open fires creating an atmosphere which just has to be experienced
If you only want the ceremony, the reception or the wedding night or all three we can accommodate your wishes.
"One of the single most wonderful experience of my life - excellent" Some couples still get married in the garden gatehouse during the December for a beautiful outdoor scene.
