Most of our weddings are traditional, but for those who wish a themed wedding; there are no other places in Britain more appropriate.
The house and gardens will give you the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. The gate house is a unique opportunity to have your ceremony in the open air. For those who is looking for a winter wedding venue there in now place like it, open log fires, flickering candles and modern under floor heating to keep you warm.
We have won commendation award, restoration award and voted the best period house by inspectors of the Country Side Attraction.
We leave it to you to find out (see guest book) if we should have an award in looking after our wedding couples. Colehurst gardens and lakes are special laid out for your wedding photos, and has its charm though out the year.
Wedding ceremonies can be held in the house or in the garden.
In the garden The Gate House (called the tree house by some brides) completely unique as it is open to the environment on all sides, and placed in the middle of Colehurst garden.
In the house The Dinning Hall with its large open fire, this room can seat 120 guests for the wedding ceremony.
It is difficult to imagine a more romantic setting for a wedding; perfumed rose arbours, the glow of candles, log fires, mulled wine and a perfect wedding chamber, fit for a Lord and Lady.

All prices for 2013 and 2014 have an increase of 5% on the 2012 prices.

Conditions of Payment
Deposit to secure date £1000.00 [non refundable]. We would be grateful if you would kindly forward a further 50% of the package price no later than six months before the date of the event, and the final settlement balance no later than one month prior to the event. At this time we will require your guest numbers with any outstanding monies. Any further requirements or questions please do not hesitate to call.
