When visiting Stately Homes and other Manor Houses, you may have often wondered just what it would be like to stay in one of these magnificent buildings – well now you have the opportunity! Old Colehurst, a Listed Grade I Manor, has ensuite rooms, some boasting four-poster beds and fireplaces, being the quarters of the Lord of the Manor and his family.
Charles the First stayed in a room where one of the priest holes of the house can be seen.
And now you can also step back in time-though you will have the modern day luxuries of under-floor heating, showers and bathrooms, and not to forget the best beds outside your home.
From the moment you enter you will feel its special magical presence, enhanced by the open log fires, the tranquillity of flickering candles in the darkness and a feeling of timelessness.
Within minutes you will be at ease with the house and surroundings and you will become part of Old Colehurst - a house carved in history, with a reputation for exquisite food and enchanting hospitality.
